1984 -- Established in
1984 as a source of supply of homogenizing
agents. Tradename Promix® developed
for Moore Plastics.
1984 -- Incorporated as
Flow Polymers, Inc. to focus on worldwide
market for homogenizing agents.
1992 -- Patented Promix
4Tear®, a unique tear enhancer for rubber
compounds. 4Tear is most effective in compounds
that utilize polar polymers.
1996 -- Acquired Ferro Dispersion
business located in Stratford, CT, with
lineage back to Ware Chemical, the first
U.S.-based dispersion manufacturer.
2000 -- Formed a joint
venture with Integrate Compound Solutions,
a Delaware company focused on innovative
dispersion technology.
1996-2001 -- Acquired four
additional patents addressing mold fouling,
advanced tackifying systems, low cost zinc
oxide and calcium oxide dispersion systems.
2001 -- Expanded dispersion
technology to ultra low viscosity/high activity
polymer bound products.
2003 -- Cleveland facility
certified to the ISO 9000-2000 quality standard.
